Employee Roster Sync Details
¶ Overview:
Employee Roster Sync connects your SAP Concur roster with Uber for Business, automatically keeping your employee list up to date. When employees join or leave the company, their Uber for Business access adjusts automatically - no manual updates needed. Sync runs four times a day to ensure accuracy and real-time visibility.
¶ What’s New: Partial Roster Sync:
Admins now have more flexibility and control with the new Partial Roster Sync capability. You can pilot the integration with a smaller group of users, apply advanced filters, and choose when to send invitations.
¶ New Capabilities Include:
- Sync a subset of employees: using configurable filters (e.g., country, department, email domain, or custom fields).
- Combine multiple filters and values: to refine exactly who is synced.
- Preview the number of employees: before syncing.
- Sync now, invite later: Employees appear as “Not Invited” until you choose to send invites.
- Pilot and scale: Start with a small test group before enabling a full sync.

- Greater control: Sync only relevant employees instead of the full roster.
- Transparency: Clear visibility into who is synced and their invitation status.

¶ Getting Started:
If you didn’t enable roster sync during your Concur setup, you can activate it anytime:
- Open the Uber for Business dashboard.
- Go to Settings > Concur Settings.
- Enable Employee Roster Sync and accept data-sharing permissions.

Important Notes
- Ensure that Uber for Business admins are included in the Concur employee roster before enabling sync.
- New employees added through Concur automatically have e-receipt forwarding enabled for orgs with decentralised billing.
