Uber minimizes data storage, fetching only the necessary information for e-receipt forwarding or roster sync while maintaining strict data privacy and transparency.

• For clients who enable only the e-receipt integration without roster sync, Uber acts purely as a data forwarding service. The only data accessed during the process is the Concur User_ID, which is used solely to confirm the employee’s active status within Concur before forwarding the receipt.

• For clients enabling Employee Roster Sync at both standalone and parent dashboard levels: When employee roster sync is enabled, Uber for Business only stores and displays limited employee data required to support the integration.

  • The following information is stored and visible within the dashboard:

    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email address
    • Phone number (optional, if data sharing permission provided): If provided, all phone numbers are fetched, but only work phone numbers are stored to match employees with existing Uber accounts.

  • The following information is stored securely but not visible in the dashboard:

    • Status: The employee’s current status within your organization’s SAP Concur account.
    • Concur User ID: The internal SAP Concur identifier used to receive roster updates.

The following information will be only used to identify whether an employee should be synced or not at the time of roster sync.

• Address: All available addresses are fetched from SAP Concur, but only the location attributes used for filtering (e.g., country, state, or city) will be used to enable roster sync. All other data is permanently deleted.
• Custom attributes: All available custom attributes are fetched, but only those selected as filters will be used to enable roster sync. All other data is permanently deleted.
